HAWTHORNE NATURALLY DYED MERINO SCARF
A soft, fine and cosy lambswool scarf with a subtle naturally dyed shade of terracotta pink using locally foraged hawthrone leaves. These scarves are created with suitability at the forefront of our minds - the wools are a mix of British undyed yarns as well as deadstock merinos that would have made their way into landfill. The dye process is done here in the Bath studio in the most gentle way - tiny vats and locally foraged. The colour is mordanted and modified with soda ash to give a beautiful but long lasting and true colour. This one has a circular tie dye pattern at each end.
