STAY: Dreamy interiors care of www.linnenberlin.com who work with local carpenters, artists and designer to create playful spaces with a home from home vibe and breakfast to die for.

SHOP: The best shopping I have ever witnessed www.bikiniberlin.de/en/. Total heaven. A concept shopping mall, home to a stunning mix of boutique shops, cafes and pop-ups showcasing local designers. And there were monkeys outside.

STROLL: German canals are just as lovely as Bath, with some serious sunshine too.

SEE: When a landmark of such sadness and suffering becomes something of beauty.
